Hi Vince,

I've upgraded your account so you can do almost anything on the wiki. Joep 17:39, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I had asked Patri if I could update the HangingBallast page. Is my wiki account upgrade a response to this and a way of saying "go ahead and modify that page" or is this unrelated to that? Vincecate 18:17, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi, it's unrelated, it just enables you to block spammers, protect pages en undo changes easily. Joep 18:24, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Ok. Thanks. Vincecate 18:28, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Images

Hi Vince,

I saw you uploaded a smaller version of the same picture. You can have Wiki do it for you if you want, for example [[Image:Fresh water.jpg|150|right]] to put a picture to the right, 150 pix wide (Mediawiki will create an actual smaller image, it's not just scaling by the browser). I'm pretty excited about the first actual prototype that can hold people, any idea when you'll be sailing? Joep 18:52, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! That is nice. I am just about to upload some more pictures of what we have now. It is all but built. I hope to sail in the next 2 days. Vincecate 23:10, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Cool! Joep 23:16, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
I had already resized the pictures and so just uploaded those. Will try this nice trick next time though. Vincecate 00:07, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
So it is not resizing for me, just taking the right 640 pixels. Can you fix the one below. Vincecate 23:15, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Sorry... forgot about "px" Joep 23:23, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi Vince. What you think of trying the ferrocement, fero-plastic or, the ferro-ceramics (geo-ceramics with ferro-mesh) as much cheaper yet a lot stronger, safer and durable alternative than aluminum alloys or steal? In addition,it is comparable in weight with aluminum alloy, yet often stronger than steel and it is practically indestructable by salt water and fire, even more so than glass material. Just an idea... Esperio
