Ideas is tension circle keeps a short spar reasonably stable and may be easier and cheaper than a full spar. This is my first drawing with SketchUp and I did not see how to put in the spokes/tension-members without drawing them all one by one, which just seemed too hard. The brown should be sky. The scale is 112 feet outside diameter and 11 feet high and 3 feet thick for the wall. The house is 30 foot diameter.
